Students and staff at Congleton High School, part of The Learning Partnership, are delighted to be celebrating excellent results for Sixth Form College students receiving their A Level grades this summer.
Once again, Congleton High School students have been rewarded for their fantastic work ethic and personal drive for excellence.
The school was thrilled to have improved on last year’s results, as a result of the brilliant hard work of all students and the determination and commitment of staff to support students to achieve their very best.
Students’ continued tenacity has helped them achieve some brilliant future outcomes, including some fantastic post-16 destinations at top universities such as Durham, Warwick, Manchester, Cardiff and Glasgow, and degree apprenticeships at companies including Datastor Systems, Bank of New York, Hans Lingl, Biocomposites Keele, and Hammond McNulty. The school continues to be committed to ensuring that students leave Congleton High School well prepared for their next stage of life, with the skills they need to thrive.
The school has also been pleased to continue to offer students the Early Years Educator and CACHE Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care from September 2025.
Congleton High School has had some star performances, including:
- Ellie Greeves who successfully achieved 3 As in Chemistry, Mathematics and Psychology and has secured her place to study Forensic Science at Northumbria University.
- Ellakah Foster who successfully achieved an A* in Health and Social Care, an A in Sociology and a B in History – she is going on to study History at the University of Manchester.
- Daniel Smith who successfully achieved an A* in Business, a B in Economics and a Distinction in BTEC ICT – Daniel is going on to study a Degree Apprenticeship with financial services company A J Bell.
- Matthew Arneil has successfully achieved a Distinction* in ICT, a Distinction in Media Studies and a C in Computer Science – he will be embarking on his Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship at Barclays Bank Plc.
- Emily Thomas successfully achieved AAA in our Early Years Educator course and has secured a place at Edge Hill University to study Primary Teaching with QTS.
- Ebony Lansley successfully achieved AAA in the Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care and a C in Applied Criminology and is going on to study Adult Nursing at Edge Hill University.
