September 2024 Year 7 Uniform Information
In September 2024 we introduced an updated uniform for NEW Year 7 students and a new House tie for ALL students.

Uniform Expectations from September 2024 for Students in Years 8 to 11
- Students in Years 8 to 11 from September 2024 can continue to wear the current uniform if they prefer.
- All students may choose to purchase the optional new unbranded, plain, black V neck jumper from April 15th 2024 as the grey and purple jumpers are no longer available.
- NB. All Year 7-11 students will wear the new House tie.
- Families will be able buy the current uniform from DP sports until the current stock is sold.
Uniform Policy for Year 8-11 2024-2025
CHS Uniform
- Black CHS logo blazer
- Black tailored trousers (jeans, Lycra® trousers or leggings are not permitted) or
- Black CHS logo skirt to be worn within 10cm of mid knee
- White shirt with collar that buttons to the neck
- Black school clip-on tie with CHS logo *
- Ankle socks or knee-high socks (must be worn below the knee and black) or tights.
- Trainer socks are not permitted. Ankle socks must be logo free.
- Plain black shoes with a heel of not more than 5cm (boots, trainers, trainer/shoes or casual shoes are not permitted)
CHS PE Kit
- Purple CHS polo shirt
- 1/4 zip CHS fleece sweatshirt or hooded sweatshirt
- Black CHS shorts or skort
- Black CHS socks
- Black CHS tracksuit bottoms or CHS leggings for all students in Years 7-9
- Year 10 and 11 may wear plain black bottoms or leggings OR CHS logo bottom or leggings.
- CHS rugby/games shirt - optional
- Short white sports socks
- Trainers
- Football boots/Astroturf shoes
- Shin pads
- Gum shield - recommended

Families who may be struggling to cover the cost of uniform can apply to the John Holford Charity for assistance and you can find out more information on eligibility and how to apply here. There is also a Facebook group - CHS Buy, Sell, Swap and Donate - which enables families to pass on items of uniform, PE kit, school equipment, books etc that are no longer required.
