For British Science Week, our Key Stage 3 Science Club students took part in one of the two Royal Society of Chemistry's Global Battery Experiments. They made a battery to power an LED using just a two pence piece, cardboard, aluminium and some vinegar.
You can make one too and, like us, share your results on the Royal Society of Chemistry website and see how they compare with others around the world.

Our Science Club runs after school on Thursdays in A1-12. All Key Stage 3 students are welcome, just turn up on the day or speak with Science teacher, Dr Buchan, for more information.
