10th - 19th March is British Science Week and the theme this year is Connections. Our Science team have loads of activities taking place to help students in all years get a greater understanding of the role of Science in our everyday lives and also help them to investigate the many careers it can lead to.
We are inviting Key Stage 3 students (Years 7, 8 and 9) to design a Connections poster using all their creativity and love of Science.
Completed posters can be given in at student reception.
There will be a fabulous prize of a solar powered model car and sweets for the worthy winner, with more tasty treats for the top five posters. All top five designs will be entered in to the national British Science Week Poster Competition to represent our school.
If parents/carers have social media, we would love them to share all the fantastic posters (please tag CHS and #BritishScienceWeek2023).
British Science Week links have been posted on satchel:one for students to try some home experiments and ask parents/carers to post their results on social media with the hashtag #CHSscienceweek and tagging Congleton High School
