On Friday 11th November, six of our students and Mrs Vale welcomed Congleton Town Council Mayor, Cllr. Margaret Gartside, in to school along with a group of Eaton Bank Academy students, to discuss a range of local 'green' issues and make plans for working together as a team to tackle concerns including (but not limited to):
• Reducing food waste.
• Plant more trees
• Reducing car travel
• Safer walking paths around Congleton
• Developing a Climate Curriculum
• Use of solar panels
• Car charging points
• Clothes exchanges
• Reducing plastic bottles

It was an extremely positive meeting and we look forward to working together and seeing the effects of the changes proposed. Well done to everyone concerned, including the CHS students:
• Lara A Year 7
• Charlie H Year 8
• Ben C Year 9
• Hannah S Year 10
• Alisha W Year 11
• Ryan C Year 12
